I'm back online :)

Hello everyone!  My computer problems have been resolved and I am off and running again!  Woohoo!

So the one big thing that occurred due to my computer virus problem was that I had the 'opportunity' to see my blog from another computer.  It was sort of a blessing in the sense that I learned that my blog looks much different when viewed elsewhere, than it does when I am on my computer .  All I can say is yuck to the horrible type face and size that it shows up in.  Sorry about that!  LOL.!  I will get it figure out a way to get it into a more eye pleasing and reader friendly font ASAP.

I've been getting a lot of requests for directions for the ornament; I will post a free tutorial for it in the fairly near future.  It was completely my own creation; I was trying to create a paper flower and after some folding and gluing I accidentally created a gorgeous snowflake.  Who says necessity is the mother of invention! LOL

Until then I will post the ingredients (maybe you can figure it out for yourself ; ) ).  Without further ado here are the ingredients...

Inspired by Stamping Featured Artist

I ended up with a horrible virus on my computer and am still working to resolve that (that's why it's been a little quiet around here lately).  I had to borrow a computer to write this post and it's not going quite as easily as it normally does.  I am hoping to have my computer up and running again soon.  Cross your fingers for me :)

The week has come and I am the featured artist over at Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge. I have created two projects for Joanna's beautiful inspiration photo.

Here is the photo (projects to use peach, yellow and blue)...

And here are my projects...

I am not posting the recipe for this card and decoration at this time due to my computer issues.  Please email me if you want more info :) cardyologist@gmail.com

FMS #44

So next week I am going to be the featured artist over at Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge.  I have been working hard to get my projects done and am so happy with how they are turning out.  Make sure you come check them out next week (Thursday, July 26).   I'm probably driving Joanna nuts with all my questions and checking-in (never claimed not to be neurotic - LOL), but I think she (and you) will be love what I've come up with.

My share for today is a little something that I put together for the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.  Jen M. has come up with a super sketch that opens the door wide for creativity and possibility.  I am very pleased with what I came up with.

Here is the sketch...

Congratulations - IBSIC #17 & FMS #43...

The temperature here has gone down a lot.  We are having a beautifully cool and rainy day; it is a very welcome reprieve from the heat.

This week I have decided to combine two challenges.  I am participating in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, for the first time, and the always awesome, Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge.

I found out my next door neighbor's daughter is expecting a baby in 4 months and with all the beautiful pastel colors in the IBS challenge I was inspired to make a card for the up coming arrival of this new small person.

When I finished creating this I was so proud of myself; I thought that I had made my first post using all current Stampin' Up! product.  But alas, I was mistaken.  The sentiment is from a past hostess set.  Oops!  Oh well. LOL Maybe next time :)

The card I am sharing is for this week's Inspired by Stamping challenge:
IBSIC #17.

Asian artisrty birthday...

I have a quick, clean, simple, and elegant card to share today. It is a little hard to see in the picture, but there is a circle punched out of the top layer and the dragon fly is stamped on the bottom layer inside the circle.  I love this card and hope you do, too.

Hope you enjoy...

For You IBSIC #16...

Edmonton is heading into a heat wave.  They are forecasting temperatures above 30oC (86oF) for the coming week.  I am guessing I won't be doing much creating as I am not a fan of the heat and hate trying to peel myself from my stamping chair when I am finished :)

I really feel for all the people and creatures in Eastern Canada and the U.S. (and any other place) who have been trying to cope with temps in the high 30's - low 40's (86-113oF).  Hopefully it will be over soon, leaving everyone safe and sound.

I had the chance to relax and create with my mom yesterday.  It was really great to spend some one on one time with her and we had a great visit.  She likes to do some "Cardy-O", but doesn't very often... she finished three cards (without any prior plan) in the time it took me to finish this one card (and I had a complete plan LOL).

When we were finished, we had a bite (actually, LOTS of bites) at the most amazing little restaurant in Edmonton; Absolutely Edibles Real Food Fusion.  If you are ever in Edmonton make sure you check out this place.  You will not be sorry you did; they do amazing things with food!

Now on to the "quick" 3+ hour card...

The card I am sharing is for this week's IBS challenge:

I have a day off (day-in-lieu of Canada Day)!  Woohoo!

Days off are few and far between around here; so I am super enjoying my time with The Boys: Small, Medium and Large :)  I thought I would take a minute, while they are otherwise occupied, to post a little something.
